Fabulous Sacramento International!!

Shady Lane Farm horses and riders enjoyed much success over the two weeks at the Sacramento International. Thanks to Dale Harvey and Rudy Leone for putting on another fabulous event in Northern California! We can't wait for next year...

Congratulations to Emma Mann-Meginniss on the purchase of "Cotillion" aka "Lola." Lola is a 4 year old Belgian Bred mare that will be competing in the YJC Classes, Hunter Derbies and Equitation.

Congratulations to Gabby Cirelli on the purchase of "Famko S" aka "Famko." Famko is a 6 year old Belgian Bred gelding that will be competing the YJC Classes and Jumper Medals.

Congrats and Good Luck to you both! Looking forward to a fabulous 2012!

A winning weekend at the Norcal Medal Finals...

The Norcal Medals Finals was a beautiful horse show this year. In addition to the fabulous facility at Leone Equestrians, we were graced with incredible weather.

Highlights of the week for riders and owners from Shady Lane Farm were:

WINNER!! $1000 AA Hunter Classic - Susan Lea and Leoncavallo
WINNER!! $5000 Carolyn Day 1.40 Jumper Classic - Lansing and Matt Archer (Owners: Kendall Jordan and Lynette Gianinni)
Top Ten Finish Round 1 Norcal 3' Medal Finals - Martha Weissbaum
Top Ten Finish $1000 Children's Hunter Classic - Chevalier Galant and Lauren Alamillo

Congrats to Kendall Jordan and Lynette Gianinni's "Lansing" on his Top Ten finish in the YJC 7/8 Year Old Finals!

After jumping one of only 4 clear rounds on Wednesday, Lansing went on to jump and eight fault round in the speed leg and another clear round on Saturday to finish in the Top Ten of the very competitive 7/8 Year Old Young Jumper Championships.

Congrats to all our riders at Pickwick Summer. Although the weather was much more like Spring, the facility at Leone Equestrians held up great and we enjoyed 4 days of showing.

Welcome to Kendall Jordan, Lauren and Janice Alamillo, and Paige and Dana Vannelli! Kendall comes to us with her wonderful horse Napolean D who is now sadly offered for sale. And we are excited to have leased the wonderful horse "Chevalier Galant" for Lauren... thank you to Hope and Ned Glynn and the Wattis Family! And Paige brings with her her wonderful horse "Tico." Looking forward to a fun year in 2011!
